Interpretive text from Nimiipuu Tribal Committee:
"Constructed from qemu/dogbane, which was hand-twined, and cornhusks, from the inner part of the corn. Prior to introduction of corn as a weaving material, beargrass served this purpose. These storage bags were used to hold various types of processed roots that were dried for winter use, and also used by the 'brides' side of the mis'qoyiit-'Wedding Trade.'"
